The Vatican Museums have one of the largest and most amazing art collections in the world. They are inside the walls of Vatican City. From figures from ancient times to works of art from the Renaissance, the halls feel like they go on forever—and in a way, they do. 

You can walk through and see tapestries, Egyptian artifacts, and paintings by Raphael. They all lead up to the big attraction: Michelangelo's ceiling in the Sistine Chapel. No matter how many photos you’ve seen, you’ll always remember what it felt like to stand beneath it. 

The museums show what the popes have collected over many years. They tell a story of power, beauty, and how faith and art come together. In a good way, it’s overwhelming.
