Montmartre: A Place for Bohemians with a View 

In the 18th arrondissement, Montmartre is perched on a hill and feels like a town inside the city. It has winding cobblestone streets, buildings covered in ivy, and the spirit of artists past and present. 

This is where Picasso, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Modigliani used to hang out, and you can still feel the bohemian vibe. Take a walk through Place du Tertre, where painters set up their easels to paint pictures of tourists and lively cafés are full of people talking. 

To get to the Sacré-Coeur Basilica, you have to climb to the top. Its white domes shine above Paris. The view from the steps is one of the best in town, and the sunsets here are something you'll never forget.
