New York City's Art Deco Giant: the Empire State Building

The Empire State Building is the most famous building in New York. It has been a sign of the city's style and desire since 1931, with its sleek Art Deco lines and tall 102-story frame.

As a teen, you have to go to the top. You can see the whole city from the 86th floor viewing deck, which is reached by a high-speed elevator. To the north is Central Park, and to the south is the Statue of Liberty. You can also see bridges, rivers, and a skyline that never stops. If you want a more private (and windier!) experience, go up to the 102nd floor.

The lobby inside is a real treat, with its shiny marble and Art Deco features that make you feel like you're in a different time. People don't just visit the Empire State Building for fun; it's an important part of New York's culture and film history.

From the views during the day to the sparkle of the city at night, it's pure NYC magic the whole time.
